Nursing and Healthcare

Nursing and Healthcare Workforce Development . Submitted a position paper advocating for the training of Bangladeshi nurses and healthcare professionals, including foreign language skills, to meet workforce shortages, particularly in European countries.

Workforce Capacity

Workforce Capacity Building (2009): Proposed a position paper to the PMO highlighting the need for capacity-building initiatives to prepare Bangladeshi workers for international markets across various industries.

Gas Sector

Preservation of Bangladesh's Gas Sector. Facilitated a meeting with UNICAL Corporation and hosted a seminar advocating for the export of finished products rather than raw natural gas, aiming to preserve Bangladesh’s gas sector.

Power Sector

Position Paper on Power Sector Development. Submitted recommendations to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on developing Bangladesh's power sector to ensure long-term energy security and sustainability.

As a Senior Consulting Advisor to USAID, developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and capacity development frameworks for international project management tailored for Bangladesh.

Rana Plaza Collapse

Position Paper on the Rana Plaza Collaps. Submitted a comprehensive position paper to the U.S. State Department addressing the aftermath of the Rana Plaza collapse in Dhaka, proposing measures to salvage and reform the Bangladeshi apparel industry

Water-Sharing Advocacy

Presented a position paper on India-Bangladesh water-sharing challenges during the Anti-War Convention in Hartford, Connecticut, emphasizing the "war on water" and the need for equitable resource management.

Garment Factory Safety

Press Conference on Garment Factory Safety. Organized a press conference in New York to highlight major accidents in Bangladeshi garment factories. The event included the Director General of Bangladesh Fire Department and outlined approaches to address fire code issues.

WTO Conference Advocacy

Met with U.S. Congress members during the WTO Conference to push for preferential treatment and enhanced access for Bangladeshi apparel products in the U.S. market.

U.S. State Department

Meeting with the U.S. State Department. Engaged with the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State to seek support for Bangladesh's agricultural sector and apparel industry, emphasizing sustainable development and market expansion.
